Terms, Policies & Service Information
At 4 Paws LLC, the health, safety, and comfort of every pet in our care is a priority. The following information summarizes important policies and terms that may apply to grooming, daycare, boarding, and related services.
This page is provided for informational purposes only and is not an online agreement or signature form. Pet parents will be asked to review and sign the appropriate service agreements, waivers, intake forms, and authorizations in person when required.
1. Pet Parent Responsibilities
Pet parents are responsible for providing complete, truthful, and current information about their pet, including:
● Medical conditions
● Medications
● Allergies
● Injuries or illnesses
● Behavioral concerns
● Aggression or bite history
● Socialization concerns
● Vaccination status
● Changes in health or behavior
4 Paws LLC may determine whether a requested service is appropriate based on the information provided and the pet’s health, condition, and behavior.
2. Health & Vaccination Requirements
Pets receiving services must meet applicable health and vaccination requirements.
Pet parents must disclose any current or recent illness, injury, contagious condition, or behavioral concern before service. Pets recently treated for a contagious illness may be required to wait at least two weeks following treatment and provide a statement of health from a licensed veterinarian before returning.
Senior pets and pets with chronic medical conditions may be accepted depending on their individual condition and care requirements. Pets that are frail or medically decompensating may not be accepted for service.
4 Paws LLC does not accept unaltered pets for applicable boarding and daycare services.
3. Clark County Pet Requirements
Pet parents are responsible for complying with applicable Clark County animal regulations.
Current Clark County requirements include:
● Dogs, cats, and ferrets over three months of age must have a current rabies vaccination.
● Dogs and cats over four months of age must have an implanted microchip.
● Microchip registration must contain current owner contact information.
● Dogs, cats, ferrets, pet rabbits, and potbellied pigs over four months of age are subject to applicable
spay/neuter requirements.
The Clark County notice provided for the website identifies the mandatory microchip requirement under Clark County Code 10.08.070. Pet parents are responsible for maintaining current registration information and meeting applicable local requirements.
4. Reservations, Deposits & Cancellations
Reservations are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until required pet health information and applicable agreements have been completed.
For boarding reservations, cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled arrival date may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
For grooming appointments, no-shows and cancellations made within 24 hours may result in a non-refundable deposit. Pet parents arriving more than 15 minutes late may risk losing the appointment and deposit.
We understand that emergencies can occur and may review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
5. Payment & Additional Charges
Pet parents are responsible for all services and applicable additional charges incurred while their pet is in the care of 4 Paws LLC.
Rates are subject to change, and seasonal or additional service charges may apply. Current rates should be confirmed at the time of booking.
Additional charges may apply for services or circumstances including medication administration, excessive soiling, meals, exit baths, parasite treatment, additional grooming requirements, extended stays, late pickup, veterinary treatment, or other care necessary for the pet.
6. Boarding & Daycare
Pets participating in boarding or daycare must be healthy and suitable for the environment.
Although reasonable precautions are taken, pet parents acknowledge that environments where animals stay or interact can involve inherent risks. These may include illness, injury, stress, changes in behavior, or aggravation of a pre-existing condition.
Pets may have opportunities to socialize with other pets when appropriate. Even with supervision and vaccination requirements, interactions between animals can result in minor injuries or exposure to contagious conditions.
4 Paws LLC reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or modify services when a pet’s health or behavior may present a risk to the pet, other animals, or staff.
7. Sibling Pets
Sibling pets may be housed together when appropriate and requested by the pet parent.
Pet parents choosing shared accommodations acknowledge that interaction between sibling pets may involve risks of injury, illness, or changes in behavior. Appropriate authorization will be completed when requesting shared accommodations.
8. Personal Items
4 Paws LLC is not responsible for the loss of or damage to personal items, bedding, toys, or other belongings left with a pet.
Please do not leave valuable or irreplaceable items with your pet.
9. Check-In & Pickup
Government-issued identification may be required when dropping off or picking up a pet.
If a pet is not picked up at the scheduled date and time, 4 Paws LLC may continue providing necessary boarding, food, water, medication, shelter, and other care at the pet parent’s expense.
Additional charges may apply for extended care or late pickup.
10. Abandoned Pets
If a pet is not picked up as scheduled and the pet parent cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, 4 Paws LLC may follow its abandoned-pet procedure as permitted by applicable law.
This may include transferring the pet to an adoption partner, animal control agency, or other appropriate animal-welfare organization.
The pet parent remains responsible for unpaid charges and other applicable expenses.
11. Emergency & Veterinary Care
If a pet becomes ill or injured while in our care, 4 Paws LLC will make reasonable efforts to contact the pet parent.
When immediate veterinary attention is necessary and the pet parent cannot be reached, the pet parent authorizes 4 Paws LLC to seek veterinary treatment and make temporary care arrangements based on the recommendations of available veterinary professionals.
The pet parent is responsible for veterinary treatment, transportation, medication, emergency care, and other related expenses.

12. Veterinary Records
When necessary for treatment or services, pet parents may be asked to authorize their veterinarian to release relevant medical records to 4 Paws LLC.
The grooming intake authorization provided by 4 Paws LLC permits veterinary information to be released for the pet and states that the authorization expires 90 days after signing unless otherwise revoked as permitted.
13. Grooming Services
Grooming is performed with care, but pet parents should understand that grooming may expose or aggravate pre-existing conditions.
Possible grooming-related concerns may include:
● Stress or anxiety
● Skin irritation
● Clipper irritation
● Minor nicks or cuts
● Toenail bleeding
● Irritation involving moles, lesions, tumors, or other skin irregularities
● Aggravation of previously unknown medical conditions
Senior pets, identified in the grooming agreement as pets age seven and older, may have an increased risk of injury or stress during grooming.
Pet parents should inform the groomer of any known health, skin, behavioral, or medical concerns before grooming begins.
14. Matted Coats
Severely tangled or matted coats can increase the risk of discomfort, stress, skin irritation, cuts, abrasions, and other complications.
4 Paws LLC will not subject a pet to serious or undue stress through excessive de-matting. Additional grooming services or charges may be required for severely matted pets.
Removing heavily matted fur may reveal existing skin conditions or result.
15. Double-Coated Pets
4 Paws LLC generally does not recommend shaving double-coated dogs unless the pet parent determines that it is necessary for the pet’s health or well-being.
Shaving a double coat can potentially result in changes to texture or color, uneven regrowth, bald areas, skin pigmentation changes, loss of protective guard coat, or increased exposure to heat, cold, sunlight, insects, and environmental conditions.
Pet parents requesting this service will be asked to acknowledge these potential risks.
16. Aggressive or Difficult Behavior
Pet parents must disclose any history of biting, aggression, fear, or difficulty with specific grooming or care procedures.
Muzzles or other reasonable safety measures may be used when necessary to protect the pet and staff.
4 Paws LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service before or during an appointment if a pet exhibits behavior that creates an unreasonable safety risk.
Pet parents may be responsible for injuries or damages caused by their pet.
17. Fleas, Ticks & Lice
Parasites can create health concerns for pets, other animals, and people.
If fleas or ticks are discovered during grooming or another service, treatment or removal may be required at the pet parent’s expense.
The current grooming agreement provides for a $50 flea/tick/lice charge. If lice are discovered, grooming services may be discontinued and veterinary care may be recommended before services resume.
18. Photos & Videos
Pets may be photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded while on 4 Paws LLC premises.
The applicable service agreements provide 4 Paws LLC permission to use resulting photos or videos for purposes including social media, website content, marketing materials, and other commercial or noncommercial communications.
The applicable authorization will be included in the agreement completed for service.
19. Incidents & Pet Parent Responsibility
Pet parents are responsible for providing accurate information about their pet and for harm or damage caused by their pet to people, other pets, or property as provided in the applicable agreement.
If an incident occurs, relevant owner contact information may be provided to involved parties or government authorities when appropriate or required.
Specific releases, indemnification provisions, and limitations of liability are contained in the agreements signed for applicable services.
20. Dispute Resolution
The current Pet Daycare & Boarding Service Agreement contains a mandatory binding arbitration provision for applicable disputes, except for certain intellectual-property matters and disputes qualifying for small claims court.
The signed service agreement contains the complete terms governing dispute resolution and applicable Nevada law.
21. In-Person Agreement Required
Reviewing this page does not constitute acceptance or execution of a service agreement.
Before providing applicable services, 4 Paws LLC may require the pet parent to complete and sign documents including:
● Pet Daycare & Boarding Service Agreement
● Pet Daycare & Boarding Rules & Regulations Waiver
● Grooming Intake Form
● Pet Grooming Agreement
● Veterinary-record authorization
● Other service-specific acknowledgements or authorizations
Signed agreements completed for service will control if there is any difference between this informational webpage and the executed agreement.
